Introducing Luke Davies who is a presenter, actor and voice over artist who has worked at Cardiff TV for five years as the station’s senior video journalist, running a team covering entertainment and news.
After a successful five years, he decided to go freelance in the summer of 2021 and is enjoying a portfolio of work with ITV, BBC Wales and S4C. Currently, you can see him present on ITV, ITV2 and ITVbe by tuning into FYI Extra. His acting career includes includes playing one of the main characters in S4C’s ‘Chwarter Call’ and ‘Mae Llefydd Gwaeth i Farw’ and cockney cop ‘Ed Fiesta’ in the short film ’The Pillocks’.
Luke is an exceptionally experienced interviewer and presenter and has interviewed celebrities at BAFTA Cymru, the First Minister of Wales and has presented ‘The Crunch’, (a two hour magazine programme) on local television. Enjoying the buzz of ‘live’, he presents at ‘The Hundred’ cricket tournament, national Welsh football and hockey matches, Champions League Final, Monster Jam UK, and the Homeless World Cup to name but a few.
Look out for his comedy videos on BBC Sesh with an impressive 3 million views as well as his presence as one of the regular pundits for BBC Wales’ ‘The Hayley Pearce Podcast.’
Overall, Luke’s passion is trying to tell stories in the best way he can. Whether it’s a chat about panto with Gok Wan, or an interview with First Minister Mark Drakeford, it’s all storytelling.
